I'm still searching far and wide for this one, I'm looking for the circa 2014 version of Vadim Taranov's Mark III. It had a special mojo that the older and newer ones don't and I can't find it anywhere. Unfortunately I lost it a few years ago and all the old mirrors are gone. Does anybody have it?

I used a Valveking in drop A at a gig once with an SD1 in front, it had gain for days. Post a clip, it may help.

I think that's the one! For me the UI would bug and only show the two left knobs. There was another version that looked like this but I think it was the above one that I used.

A & C sound more dynamic. Whether they're hardware or not I don't know. I'd love to see a Mesa Mark comparison as in my experience I've never got a modeller to sound close to using the direct out on one of my physical amps.

It's well mixed but the actual sound of it is incredibly unexciting. Remember when drums didn't sound like dry transients?

It's actually fairly different sounding to my ears. It's like a sidegrade rather than the new definitive version. And I love the expanded box set, who doesn't want more content? Ah to be in 2016 again. About a year after everyone transitioned from hardcore-core bands like TGI to actual hardcore and all the bands ended up sounding really metallic and beatdown was huge. Shameless self promotion.
