If people have no money to pay you, where do you think your business comes from?
Either they don't remodel their house or they try it themselves even though it takes them way more time than someone experienced like you and the result may not be as perfect.

I agree that you are probably not among the first affected but long term everything is connected.

I would recommend the book "The Coming Wave". It's hard to not be out of date when technology is advancing so rapidly and it's already a year old, but I think it sets the scene pretty well. It's written by the right people.

I think I'm safe. Regulation will never allow AI to be used as a design tool in aeronautics. Not in my life time at least.

I can't wait for ai to replace all the workers. Then there will be plenty of free time for traveling and all the other hobbies and stuff we wanted to do but never had time for. Ai will replace all the workers so there will be no need for wages anymore. So no need for money anymore. We can all just live free in the modern utopia with no need to worry about having to work anymore.
