COOL.
Final version
This is just the 57. Bit thick in the low mids, but the rest of the signal chain appreciates it and I'm sure I could tame that with some EQ
Shifted the 421 to a little bit further off the speaker cone. Get a bit more upper mids rather than just all treble
Here's the Room Mic. It's a Mojave Audio MA300. Great mic. Works on everything.
Just the 57 and the Room mic. I think this is my favourite noise buuuut...
I quietly suspect that that 421 is gonna help it not get lost in the mix. I'll use as little as I can get away with but I wouldn't be surprised if in the mix, the 421 comes out in force.

Needs a bit of Low-Mid EQ (Obviously, it's metal guitar recorded with multiple mics) or probably just some Multiband Compression. Top end might need some work too, but I'm PRETTY happy with it and will call it "done"
Now then...
I have other amps. None of them are "as" dialed in as this MkV. The MkV is a bit of a unique beast that breaks brains. If an amp is going to drive you insane, the MkV is probably the correct choice.
People mentioned that they enjoyed this thread! COOL! I don't know what you enjoyed more. Taking the piss out of me, watching me go insane, taking the piss out of me FOR going insane (all of which were welcome) or if you enjoyed watching this process of me tweak an amp into oblivion with examples.
I'm not opposed to doing other threads for other amps? I learned a heap here and enjoyed doing this too. But few amps are as nonsensical as the MkV so the entertainment value could be lower.
Would people be opposed to other threads like this in the future where I go insane on other amps?
