Lmao that sounds exactly like Maestro Alex Gregory

At least Jari had a custom guitar built though. MAG just put a custom TRC on a Les Paul Standard lol

What a life though. Imagine having a bunch of suckers give you enormous amounts of money so you can order custom guitars, build saunas and sit around jerking off.

Boldly going where no man has gone before as he puts it.

So he needed to order two 26.5" guitars because he couldn't record guitars without them despite having Daemoness, Solar and Ibanez endorsements where he got multiple 26.5" guitars specifically for these projects he's working on.

I can understand wanting a baritone for super low tunings and his preference that it's a 6 string with EMGs.

But he needed these specific guitars to properly capture his vision. Only they can pick up on the subtle nuances in Jari's playing.

Just disregard things like Loathe recording their latest record on Squiers, or just most people recording songs/records on production guitars, and you can make an argument for Jari needing boutique instruments.

Funny thing is that the Wintersun self-titled was recorded with Squier Telecaster modded with Seymor Duncan Hotrails and that record is the best thing Jari has ever done...

No no no. He needed these specific guitars to properly capture part of his vision. Don't forget, the party is not over! More guitars are coming! And those are needed to properly capture another part of his vision. I suppose.

To be fair 4 of the songs must have been that cheap import Jackson with Emgs.

Was actually an '80s MiJ Tokai.
EDIT: Also it's stock. I can hear the twang in some tracks for sure.

Hmm, apparently Nightwish are gonna take a break from touring after the next album, so maybe that'll allow Kai and Jukka to tour with Wintersun.

You really think they're going to tour anytime soon? The next album is coming out 2032, so my bets are that they'll tour then for a year or so and then they're going to gather some money for new headquarters at swiss alps. There and only there can Jari see the epic stars well enough and get inspired to start making 20th album! The previous 16 albums are almost complete, ranging from .52% completion to 99,92621% completion (time 2, on which Jari hasn't worked at all, but hey, he at least wrote about it couple of times on facebook, so that counts as a progress, right?).

In the meantime he has to get eight new six string guitars... But this time they're made out of a wood found in a bog near konala, helsinki. Then and only then he can play the epic riffs for the new album! And hey, here's a bit of a teaser, so you won't get bored waiting! Jari has farted three times on a neumann microphone. One of them is actually an armpit fart, can you guess which one it is? You'll know the answer after subscribing to Jari's patreon page. There is also an exclusive video of Jari farting on the mic. The ass wind was filmed on glorious 8k 8600fps slow motion camera, so you can see Jari's bunghole and all the hemorrhoids rippling from the force of the flatulence. If you look close enough you can actually see one of the thousands of windchimes peeking out of the rectum. It will be used on the new record!

Given he's given up playing guitar live, I take it the other guitarist(s) will need to order custom 30" 6 string baritones as well?
On second thought maybe working for Jari seems pretty cool lmao

On the other hand you'd have to deal with him sounding like an Art Bell guest caller on a daily basis
