That nervousness can really assist in bombing an interview. Last job offer I had was the same way. I wasn't desperate for the job and so I went in with a fairly relaxed ( albeit professional) demeanor. I was honestly surprised that they called me back and were actually willing to match what I was currently making. I wasn't expecting that but apparently they were impressed. In the end I declined the job but yep... being yourself and not having that anxiety can do wonders for making a good impression.Man this is the best. The interviews that got my best performance were absolutely the ones where they didn't really matter to me. Like yeah I want the job, that's why I'm here, but I'm just fine where I'm at; so I'm not gunna walk on eggshells or worry about giving perfect answers or anything like that, what you see is what you get, take it or leave it.
