Literal rock: new caps for our chimneys where repointing has turned into a full rebuild on two chimneys because the original 1900'ish mortar had pretty much turned to sand.

It is likely going to be a very slow gear year here since boatloads of money are going into the house right now... fortunately I already pretty much have more gear than I know what to do with

Going to guess that isn't the current revision, otherwise that's a really good price.

So what was the total parking lot hang time on that deal for that thing

Mogami 2319 and 2524 along with some Neutrik and squareplug connectors from Redco. Going to make my own cables and will be wiring up a pedal board soon as well.

I thiiiiiiink I've settled on going for the new Motu 16a for my audio interface switch. (was on an old apollo twin. just not enough i/o on that)

$1499 with more than enough I/O for my needs, and easy expand-ability.

Worth a shot at that price anyway. Once I get my taxes done, I'll pull the trigger.

If y’all haven’t plugged your electric guitar into an Acoustic amp for cleans, you are missing out.

I got a Fishman Loudbox Mini as a gift. I plugged a single hum Strat into it and it’s the best clean tone I’ve had since my Theta Combo (which also had multiple drivers and a crossover)

I’m now a full believer in multiple different sized drivers and crossovers to get the best tones. This thing only has 2 drivers and a crossover but the full size “Performer” model has an 8” woofer, 5” midrange driver, and a tweeter.

I got to try the full size model on a different occasion and It just hits in a different way than even a big 212 like the JC120 does.

On top of that the EQ bands for bass, mid, and treble are perfect. Rolling off treble decreases harshness without losing clarity, increasing bass makes everything sound bigger, not woofier or muddier.

TLDR: The Fishman Loudbox series are phenomenal amps for clean tones.

Really want a new set of EMGs for my Kiesel. Lithiums did it for a while when I was modeling, but through my tube rig they're just really thin and weak compared to my EMG loaded guitars.

Confirming you’re using different settings for the different guitars (if we dont ask, we dont know)

I've been loving my 7620's so much that I'm planning on picking up a six string Ibanez. Right now I'm checking out 1570's, RG655, and RG550. I'm also kind of considering an S series. I've tried a few over the years and always liked how they felt. I'm not really concerned for what pickups they come with since I'll probably swap them out anyway, but I really like the lo pro 7. I don't know much about the other Ibanez trems.
