The power supply modules are the primary reason I went with a Temple Audio board and years later i still haven’t invested in actually buying said modules lol. If you get one let us know what you think.
I’m using the Voodo Labs Mondo due to the courtesy outlet for the Helix, otherwise, one of the Temple Audio power modules would have been my “go to”.

Just ordered an RGDR4427 for a pretty good price; £1400 new. Seeing these are discontinued in most places I was getting fomo and had to order. First guitar purchase since 2020.

Thinking about the EMG Daemonum. Anyone had any experience with it compared to other EMGs?

I've got one. It's darker and smoother than typical 81/85. It's kind of like an EMG parallel axis. I'm not loving it in the rest of my setup, but it's pretty good.

Won't be the Mark VII... went and played it at my local dealer for the 2nd time. Brought my own guitar this time. Sounds amazing - but I only really like the IIC+ and IV settings. Those 2 along are ALMOST worth getting one. When I had a V 25 I stuck to channel 2 (IIC+/IV/Extreme). But I'm not a huge fan of the rest. I don't really do clean. The crunch is OK but not my thing. I played around with the Mark VII mode - it's just a weird voicing. I think it has it's place but it requires dialing it VERY differently than IIC+ or IV modes.

In any case, not meant as a VII review...as I played a Multi-Watt Dual Recto that they had there as well. I think that's my next purchase. I was a teenager in the 90s so have a soft spot for them. Orange Vintage mode is so good. It's that 90s early 2000s sound. Drop D of course. lol. Now just need a find a good used one. They're up to $2800 new for the 100 W head. There's some good deals out there I think.

Dude, I've been GAS-ing hard for the Mark VII. I never really had a Mark series, or was interested in getting one until recently; which is weird because they sound awesome to me. I need to find one locally to play though. My regular shop sold out within the first week of release.

I'm in the same place with the recto's too. I have a badlander, but I still want to get a multi-watt. From what I've heard they sound the most like the earlier revisions that are insanely priced and hard to find. My first "real" head was a triple rec rev G and I miss that amp dearly.

May grab a treble booster (catalinbred naga viper or that circuit). I foresee selling a couple of dirt pedals too, depending on how the project ends up sounding.

Ended up getting a Keeley Halo pedal. Originally planning to use the Free The Tone Cosmic Wave as my main mini delay of choice, but it had a ton of esoteric sounds and options that felt overqualified for a mini fly rig. And I wanted the Halo for some time now. Then my friend who was also one of the managers at the studio I frequent needed an extra delay for his touring rig. I offered to lend the Strymon Dig but it took up too much juice on his board, so the Halo was perfect.

Ended up grabbing a new baritone to replace my Cabronita, it's not bad but it's not nearly on the level that my Contemporary Tele is, so it always feels like a bit of a downgrade going to it; have to post up the NGD once my apartment is cleaned up though.

just ordered a Maxon ST9+ overdrive because my od820 doesn't seem to work that well with the dual rectifier; almost ordered a Dirty Tree but it seemed almost too tight for me
saw Cannibal Corpse just a few days ago again and their live sound just made me pull the trigger
