the beat is good, but his flow is eh. and don't even mention the lyrics
my ex wife was super into him. well, I guess she probably still is. anyway, mixed memories there, not always an easy or pleasant listen, but it also feels good to reclaim it in a sense. it's too bad he didn't make more tracks like that, nothing else of his has really resonated with me.

i've heard that this song was recorded just as a soundcheck to check if his microphone was working, so i wonder how he feels that this song is his most popular song to date.

explains the stupid lyrics lol

reminds me of the story of Beck- Loser, supposedly he was trying to make an intentionally stupid and simple song and the rest is history as they say

seems to happen more often than one might expect. Blur - Song 2 and Deftones - Back to School also come immediately to mind.

also Yonkers - Tyler, The Creator. he made that beat in about 8 minutes to mock new york hip hop and rapped as is he was from there. he hates that song and the album it was on now, as he feels he's released better music, so yeah, i wonder if Yung Lean feels the same way about Ginseng Strip

“Septicflesh” remains my favorite of all time when it comes to Symphonic Neoclassical Death Metal…they never disappoint and I always am looking forward to new stuff they produce…their music puts me in that beautiful dark place that I love.

Andy's new album recovery is phenomenal. He has such great dynamics, feel and tone.
