Anyone make a wall hanger for a wide neck? I have a 7 string classical guitar and the neck is too wide to fit a standard wall hanger.

Thanks.

The classical one is wider, and it's post doesn't stick out quite so far....but they can do different length posts, too.

It's meant to be bent out a bit for some wider necks...but a 7-string classical could still prove to be too wide.

I would strongly strongly suggest giving them a call, They might have something that they've made for a 6-string bass, or something. I am making a custom item hanger, and I was able to order just some blank back plates so that I can attach my homemade stuff to it, to hand on my slat wall. They were very accomodating, and came up with the solution when i described what i was trying to acheive.

They are based in Wisconsin, I think, and love their hangers.

edit: I see on Amazon they have replacewment yokes made for 6-7 string basses. That sounds like it should be big enough, though there's no measurements...but it does reinforce that i think it's worth calling them.

I would just get done pliers, a vise, and a hammer then bend a six string hanger wider.
