I made a riff that im considering using with my band, but im not quite sold on it. So just looking for other peoples thought on it. Ignore the vocal version id probably use cleans on it anyway instead of poorly recorded screams.

Keep in mind this is only a demo, so dont expect incredible audio quality.

I like that riff. It's not cheesy imo. I think you should be aware that you are the one that has to make the decisions of what is good what is not. Dont ask other peoples advice because than you will never really be able to weed out things that work and dont on your own. I hope you don't think I am scolding you I am just putting it out there. No offense.

This stuff should probably go in the recording studio section, but that's ok. also, I can't hardly hear anything. The riff would probably sound better if I could make out the notes easily. Otherwise, yeah.

It's alright on its own. I think it could be good in the context of a full song. Kinda depends on how you use it I guess

Sounds like someone's been listening to Melechesh.

You'd be surprised how many riffs out there sound dead simple or even kind of lame out of the context of their songs. Doesn't matter if it works within the piece itself.
