I have no right to ask for pics as i still haven't posted mine. But now I'm hunting for a Pelham blue custom, or make one myself via a kit.

Stupid gas

If the pockets feel deep, see if Eddie’s guitars have any used ones. Or new ones though they are probably gone now.

In 2015, the usual bursts on standards were rim bursts, which means a thinner burst, basically:

Most Gibson fans seem to dislike them, but I think they can look well.
A poker chip around the switch helps fill the the space so it doesn't look so weird imho

sadly the pockets dont seem as generous to me right now.
Thus the new Epi that may come out eventually...or just make a PGK guitar kit, paint it myself and all.

all in all, i think it will be less than $1500 with all upgrades and stuff I put to it.

50's neck seems alluring right now

okay, so work is BIT slow right now...lets oil up the board on my gold top, and take pics while i set it up.

maybe NGD over the weekend. Is 56k still a thing?
also, does anyone have recommendations for hosting pics online that are easily manageable sizes? Whichever ones I use for SS.org eventually go away, or they dont support SS.org for some reason.

and I dont want to be a responsible adult...especially as we are heading into an economic hardship

When I post pics here it’s usually just ones I take from my phone and just add them to the post directly. Works great and no hosting issues.

my dumb ass uses my SLR. At 45 megapixels each, SS.ORG doesn't like images that big.

so need to find a better hosting sight.

KEEP IT! one guitar per tuning! Even if its half a step different from others? I mean, clearly you need another guitar to explore that tuning!

I just went back to a smaller gauge for the goldtop. I've been using 11-49s for standard for a while. Recently went up to 12-52 to tune to C. Now i'm using 9-46 for standard on a Gibby scale. Seems neat. Almost forgot how smaller strings cut through the mix more clearly.

took some setting up pics. Will do a better/proper shoot later on today

What is the general consensus on Epiphone Les Pauls? I've played a few here an there at my GC.. never been that impressed.

I'd like to get "tribute" RR Les Paul in the collection... Hows the build quality? Should i just pass?

They aren't bad.
But for that price, I'd recommend Edwards instead. Better guitar in every way.

If it's RR, then Edwards arent aged, so they will alpine/snow white but will age over time..

I have one string up with 9s because the frets are a bit low for my taste (with 10s, my fingers slip right off the string for some bends and vibratos), and it's a weird feeling at first. Definitely have to be mindful of how hard I hit the strings.
