Started "The Watcher" horror series.
One episode in but it's got my attention so far.

Honestly, Last of Us is the last show I can remember where I actually got attached and watched as it aired. And I played both games. And honestly, this week's episode mentally exhausted me by the end. That said, I'm sitting here thinking the final episode would be like 75 - 90 minutes, and apparently it's going to actually be the shortest episode of the season.

Also, I feel like you could practically make 3 seasons out of Part 2, but I was hoping the next season would be what happened between the two games.

It's funny because in the game you play as Ellie for that whole sequence from what I remember. They didn't do anything "subversive", they just followed the damn plot of the game lol. I can't wait for them to introduce some of the characters from TLOU2 and be like "ooh we're so inclusive, we have nonbinary characters AND LGBTQIA characters now". *Also a muscle mommy*

I did like how they made David into a schoolteacher and had the bit where the other men were going to mercy kill Ellie to spare her from David's ugggh bad touch. That added some nuance/fleshed out his character a bit. Same with fleshing out why they were eating people. The game just has them eating people to be ghoulish from what I remember. I was laughing my ass off at Joel somehow overpowering 3 healthy full grown men with an abdominal wound though.
You switched back and forth between characters during her escape and fight against that guy, with pretty similar crosscutting to the show (just the boss fight against that guy involved hitting him a lot more times before "winning" than she did on the show).

Coincidentally I didn't like that game at all till the winter sequence where you played as her, that was the point where it finally grabbed me and I was all in after that. This episode was quite good. Especially after the Left Behind episode. I mean, character background is good and all, but it's better IMO if things actually happen in the damn episode.

I gave up on it after like 3 episodes. The first one was solid in setting things up but it turns into an unintentional comedy after that.
Yeah, lol it did suck after the beginnning and I don't think they ever came around to making another season either.

I haven't been this interested in a TV show since season 1-4 of Game of Thrones. We need more shows like this.

Finished "The Expanse". Is there a Season 7 planned? The "Resurrection Dogs" arc seems to have been left hanging.

Found out that Crackle has Red Dwarf (all 12 seasons & the movie). My DVD set stopped at six. Other than the movie, I thought that's all there was.

There are rumors that they are trying to get another season of The Expanse made, but I'm not sure if it's still happening or what. Haven't heard much the last few months.

Red Dwarf is always awesome. Always.

I watched Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. it was alright, pretty much middle of the road for what I expect of that franchise on screen. Plenty of satisfying zombie slaying.

Started up The Peripheral. It's pretty slick scifi. A lot of the stuff is pretty grounded, though there is some wild tech.

This show is great, really looking forward to S2. Added the book to my list as well, but I'm on an Ursula K Le Guin kick right now so we'll see when I get around to it.

This show was also excellent, I've read all the books and recently rewatched the series. Really hope someone picks it up to finish the story out, the show just got to the really interesting stuff.

I always refer to anything fancier than the wood, break-apart, wrapped in paper, chopsticks as "Mimosian Anti-Matter Chopsticks"
True story: last time I watched an all-day marathon of Red Dwarf, I picked up two curries from the only Indian place in town at the time, one a vindaloo, and ate both of them while laughing my ass off. That was a good day. But it's been over a decade. I miss those types of shows so much.

This show makes me giggle whenever I see this appliance brand.

Binged the "season", no idea if there is another planned but it would work for sure.

It was well done and the "supernatural" aspect is mostly subdued but subtle enough to understand there's some actual evil afoot. Christoph Waltz does his thing very well.

I've been watching through Bob's Burgers again, as well as starting Archer. I watched the first four seasons or so of Archer before, but when they changed the subject of the show, I tuned out.
