Swaping an Edge Zero

    Hey, i've got that Ibanez RGA420Z, i'd like to know if i can swap it for a standard floyd or a low pro Edge?
    Do i have to keep the ZPS or do i have to get rid of everything?

    You can do whatever, you just might need to fill/redrill some stuff and/or do some work on the cavities.

    As of now, nothing is a direct drop-in replacement for the Edge Zero, and the ZPS is only compatible with trem blocks designed for it.

    Max nailed it. I’ve seen it done. You’ll need to pull the bushings, fill the holes, and drill new holes because the Lo Pro studs are in a different spot.

    Then you’ll need to massage the spring cavity to get a normal claw in there.

    I don’t remember if the trem recess needs some work too, but I would assume it also would need some tweaking.
