So I've gotten a little bored/experimental and I'm looking at rigging up a pair of 6505MH's running into 212-6 Greenback cabs. My question for you is what ABY boxes do you prefer?

When I ran a 2-amp rig, my favorite was the discontinued Decibel 11 Split Personality. They go around $100 - $150.

Although I’m back to mono these days, I was using a GigRig Abybaby. Excellent unit. A bit spendy though.

What's the benefit of running the same rig twice? Would make some sense with effects or something maybe, but other than adding volume, I'm not sure what the point of running "in stereo" would be, unless you add something to simulate a second guitar or something (Mimic pedal? Short delay?).

Yeah the ABY box splits the signal and delays one by a tiny bit so you get sound similar a double track or 2 guitars in harmony

Also stereo delays are how Holdsworth sounded so huge

When I did it I just used a cheaper Stereo Chorus pedal to split the signal.

If I wanted something fancier with more options, I was looking at the Radial Twin City.

check out the BOSS LS-2 ... seriously one of the most underrated but extremely versatile pedals out there.

I use a Radial Twin City in my rig with no complaints :yesway: the main benefit of the Twin City over the Big Shot is that it's buffered so you don't loose any signal when you run into two amps.
