I'd heard these were coming a few months ago and have had a weekly search for them ever since. Now that they're available, my wallet is literally leaving singe marks on my pocket. The red one is about a 50/50 want. The reverse stock always hits me wrong on the Warrior, but the yellow with maple board? LAWD! It gets me moist in all the right *AND* all the wrong ways. Been wantin' it since that first video hit for the last album.

Technically, I can afford it today, but I've been trying to be a good boy since my yearly bonus guitar purchase a couple months back. Maybe I'll wait to see what our quarterly bonus does this go-round. Ugh. If I had double what I have right now in the bank, I'd probably buy both, because I'm weak-willed when it comes to ridiculous pointies.

Who else is eye-fuckin' these beasts?

I want the Red one so bad but I refuse to buy a lower end Jackson without trying it first. Hopefully Capitol guitars gets some in soon so I can try em out.

I was quite underwhelmed by the Pro Juggernaut. I mean, it was a very nice guitar for the price my buddy paid used, but if that's the quality $1300 gets you nowadays, then fuck no.

Here’s a few reasons not to; the piranha inlays instead of sharks, the reversed headstock, and personally I prefer 25.5 for my sevens. But they are really cool, yellow is the clear winner.

Low end jacksons have been super hit or miss ime. Even the nicer MIJ/USA stuff isn't super impressive for the money imo. I played a USA King V yesterday and was completely underwhelmed. There were Fender USA Standards that were much nicer for basically half the price.

They're also neck through
I got saws, bro.

These are Indonesian. I had one of the Ash top dark gray ones for a bit, which are 25.5" that was pretty nice, but I did have it plek'ed and set up by a pro.

I think a lot of low and mid-range Jacksons need some love from a tech out of the box. Kinda sad for the money they charge for them, but I've gotten pretty decent at fret leveling myself over the last few years. As long as the bones are solid and it resonates well, I got no problems with them. If I needed it to be perfect out of the box, I'd want to try it in person.

But those are all great features. I love the Piranha inlays and think Jackson needs to use them more lol.

Now here's a legit reason not to get it.

The nightmare stories I hear about Jackson's Indo-made guitars scares me from ever touching one lol.

It’s crazy that $1400 is considered “low end”.
I kinda find that odd too. I've got a JS32T. That's low-end. These are mid-tier to me. But, some folks get used to "good" guitars costing 3k and up. I may pay that much for a custom some day, but I'll never view anything over 1k as "low end."

Seeing that on release immediately killed my GAS for one. I was hoping they'd be MIK. MII anything is a deal breaker for me, especially at this price point

am i the only one that's gotten outrageously bad MIK guitars multiple times? MIK=MII=MIC as far as I'm concerned. I've played some lower end jacksons recently, i was surprised at how good the china made ones were... Better than the indos even
