Yeah, just pockets. Family friends near Three Lakes (up by Eagle River) and Clintonville call it that, but that's all I've come across. But they are there, and not oroginally from Minnesota (at least not them, specifically...maybe their parents).

Weird. I have family from Wausau/Ashland/Milwaukee and none of them say that. I've never met anybody that grew up in WI that says it unless they spent time in the twin cities.

Okay so what I find funny is that this is HUGE in Scandinavian and Finnish cultures, still, and that came over with immigration, obviously you're aware of heavy scandinavian and finnish immigrants came over to MN and WI. Weird that cultural stuff like that still seeps over.
