I used to always go for topped pizzas like pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, peppers, onions, buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, yes even hawaiian.... but as I've gotten older, I've realized that toppings on a pizza are awesome.... but nothing will truly ever beat the classic cheese pizza. #KevinWasRight

I’m a white pizza guy myself. Some garlic and ricotta and you’re off to the races.

I got one of the 29" Solars with an Evertune and I gotta say it's fucking great. I can tune to drop F# with what I think is a .056, later I will get some thicker strings to mess around with too. The Evertune looks a little funny but my god does it work as advertised, bending strings with no pitch change is such a bizarre experience.

Anyway, I'll make an NGD soon™, just wanted to share a positive experience since some of the posts here made me paranoid

For my European friends, there's currently a buy-one, get-one sale for 49.99 Euro on their website now. I was never interested in these, but this could push me to end up with two new instruments that I definitely do not need

Just to avoid surprises... as I needed a while to get it... one can buy a guitar or bass from the list and choose an S by Solar guitar for 49.99.
Still a good deal, but those are 250-300€ guitars.

I like the looks of this, but I wonder what it's made of. The specs say an alder body with flame maple top. That sure isn't a flame maple top. It looks a lot like my Jackson Loomis, which has an ash top.

I really like the black with white binding look. Classy.

I almost got the Ibanez 2 years ago... but when looking at it on a Store and picking it up I just didn't jive with it. Yet from time to time I look a it.

When the Solar was announced I was like oh Yeah!!! Knowing the Hardware on the Ibby is superior and most certain its construction. But the Solar just look "meaner"

Last week I tried again that Ibby but the fixed bridge version. Didn't plugged it in since store was closing and I just wanted to feel it in my hands. I know the Wizard Neck from my Rg's 550 and 565 and this felt a bit different. Its heavy and I liked the feel of the Gibraltar bridge. Yet the neck being plane Maple just contrast too much with the rest of the guitar. To me its not a cohesive look model like the Solar is.

Also I never had a Solar and I have a lot of MIJ Ibby's, 2 RG 565 Genesis, 1 RG 550 Genesis and 3 S540 from 91 to 99. Not to mention the two MTM2 in Black and White versions and a RG 321EX that looks like the MTM2 and I'm modding it. Sanded the Wizard 2 neck down to almost Wizard levels getting ride of the shoulders and neck now feels super nice.

Most certain being brutally honest I just want a SOLAR and this one looks lovely to me.

I LOVE guitars and I'm a simple Bedroom "player" so what catches my eye and if I can afford it or think it's worth it I will go for it if I can.

I hate open pore. They always get splotchy spots from where your skin touches them. Your mileage may vary.

I know what you mean, you can spot them on this one I tried recently.

Doesn't really bother me. All Matte guitars will show shinny spots very fast.

I like this one :

It has a certain look of deadly elegance, such as black puma has. It's a Cort KX700, so it Solar's sibling.
I’ve been eyeballing this one for over a year now. I should have bought one from Thomann before they got more expensive. You used to be able to get it for ~$800. A lot of guitar for that money.
