Iirc HIV survives ~3 minutes in open air (don't test it on yourself with a timer, but you get the general idea)

Very few things can actually be caught from inanimate objects.
Tetanus, though, is a real thing.

I'm so jealous. Japanese Jackson dinky is the best guitar neck profile that I've ever played. I still think about the one I sold away almost daily.

Right? I mean, when the guy went in back and came out and said "$150", I almost dropped it.

What a killer deal, can’t wait to see the update pics fully cleaned and polished.

I’ve only been this lucky once in a pawn shop. Got a Washburn CS WM526 for about US $300. Luck has run out since however

I wish all the pawn shops around me had that "guitar guy". Mine price all their shit at ebay prices at best, and over new at worst.

Yeah, seems to be the norm around here, too. I have to admit, the other stuff in that shop was priced fairly - the India made Jacksons were a fair price, a mid-2000s BC Rich Korean Mockingbird was $400 because it was beat up, etc. I just think the dude thought this was a dirty DK2. Which it's really not much different than, though the binding is done better than your average DK2.
