<span style="color
range;font-weight:bold;">Who are your biggest musical influences?</span>
I gather inspiration from all kinds of things, not just music. I find inspiration in artwork, movie scores, documentaries on the Discovery Channel (lol), and of course- amazing musicians. If it's a little out of the ordinary, I will most likely enjoy it. As far as metal bands go- just as long as it's heavy and technical I will listen to it. Some guitar players that have influenced me are, Toni Iommi (the reason I picked up a guitar), Andreas Kisser, Randy Rhoads, Kirk Windstien, Jeff Loomis, Dime, Dino C, Robb Flynn, Fredrik Thordendal, Paul Ortiz, Misha Mansoor, Scott Ian, Ron Jarzombek (yes!) guys like that.
<span style="color
range;font-weight:bold;"> For those who haven't yet heard your song, describe "Andromeda" in seven words or less:</span>
Confusing, fun, energetic, heavy, nerve wracking, br00talz?
<span style="color
range;font-weight:bold;">What was the writing process like for "Andromeda"?</span>
My writing process is always the same for every song. Once a week, I lock myself in my home studio with a pot of coffee and try to challenge myself, musically. I wrote and recorded Andromeda one day after being stuck in a rut for a while.
<span style="color
range;font-weight:bold;">Did the song turn out as you'd envisioned it?</span>
I think so. Im definitely my own worst critic. I didnt think the song was anything remarkable, but the feedback Ive received on it makes me think that it turned out okay.
