I know one guy that owns one and he loves it

That said it is not a brand that is easy to move if you don't like it form what I've seen
thanks!
can you ask your friend, Leviathan has low noise at high gain settings? maybe especially at 2nd channel?
he used noise gate pedal or not? thanks

If you cant try one, why is it the top of your list over something you can try?

you have strange question or I didnt understand it exactly but im looking now between this Leviathan and Engl SE E670FE.
(also maybe i want look at Lichtlaerm Prometheus but you can get them from wait list after few month as I understood. but Im also almost didnt hear demo of their amp, so maybe it will not fits me)

ah, also i was looking to Savage 120 mk2, but it has his squeaky/glassy edge in sound, which I maybe wont like over time. but one guys says that we can adjust eq settings on amp to reduce this thing.
and at some demos really I hear only solid metal tone without this glassy edge. (but anyway this thing is part of savage own sound/grain, so it make it unique)

Cab construction and dimensions will affect how the speaker moves, and thus act as another filter. If you want a Savage that gets the sound you heard in a specific video, you should be looking for the same cab with the same speakers. If nothing else a clone of that cab. And remember that in the room the amp won’t sound like it does mic’d up for a video. For instance, even with V30s, my Uber Ultra doesn’t have a lot of natural presence. It’s a very midrangy amp. It cuts well and has lots of note separation but it doesn’t sound harsh in the room. With a mic on it in the right spot it has MORE than enough top. Leviathan I’ve heard compared to an Uberschall a few times. Savage mk2 is nothing like an Uberschall from what I’ve heard. Your amps you’re looking at are all pretty different. I might work on narrowing down what will be the best fit before committing money to anything.

i cant say anything about the leviathan, but as a savage mkii owner, theres so many variations of tone with that amp that im sure you can find what you are looking for.

Its not glassy or squeaky in any way, unless you dial it in that way. The lead channel is just glorious imo and you dont need overdrives/pedals or anything. The FE is similar but more refined. Just read the manual and play around with it. Selling any ENGL should be quite easy too if you dont like it, but honestly the only criticism ive heard for the savage is that it doesnt play well with overdrives, but like it doesnt need one. If you want to use an overdrive, just lower the gain and crank the low end, but theres just no point as its super tight and brutal by itself.
