Hey awesome write-up. I'd like to offer my two cents on correcting years especially for Head.

1995 LACS RG7 - it's actually a 1997 model I believe. The picture is of the life is peachy tour in 1997 with incubus.

1996 LACS RG7 - this is actually a 1998 photo and guitar, for promo for Follow The Leader album cycle. There are other promo photos of them outside NRG studio with these guitars.

1998-

LACS RG7 – I am debating that this is a 1999 guitar, as the first time I saw it was for the Big Day Out 99 festival in Australia.

RG7620RB – I am also debating this is a 1999 model while he got more silverbursts made for the 2000 Issues tour cycle. The munky photo provided looks like an early 1999 tour (rock is dead?), and the Head photo is from right before Woodstock.

2000 -K-7 - this guitar started to be made only in late 2001, with Korn using them for 2002's Untouchables album cycle. The picture you have here is from 2002-2003, presumably from the world tour they did before hitting the studio again.

2001 LACS RG7 - the uncle B guitar was a 2003 custom shop for the Take A Look In The Mirror album cycle. As seen on guitar world magazine cover and the Metallica "one" song cover. Additionally the photos you have here are from 2003/2004 before Head quit.

I probably shouldn't know this much about Korn but here I am.

I would lastly suggest for continuity to put the Silverburst back in for a 2000 entry as well, as the painted neck version you linked in 1998 is actually a 2000 model that the OP stated in that sevenstring thread.
There's footage of Head using the single pickup RG in 1996, which I corrected now.

Greenburst has a 1998 LACS serial number, but was only seen in 1999 and then in a pool lol

The RG7620RB Head pic is from the secret show the night before Woodstock 99 in LA and Munky is using it during the Family Values 1998 tour when they played "All In The Family".

I had to use photos from later dates that showed the guitars better as some of them are only visible in really low quality videos.

This is awesome info though, I really appreciate it!

Wooow... How do you know about "uncle B" ? have you seen it irl ? Its one of the mysteries i cant really solve, only HQ shot of it is the one from some guitar magazine.

Some corrections, including what happened to Head's original UVPWH and Munky's first UV7.

Found pics of custom guitars that raise more questions lol, I think at this point, I'l have to create a twitter or fb account to reach out to other Korn fan sites or the band themselves incase they are willing to offer some insight.

  • 2001 - LACS RG7- Glossy natural finish with a black headstock, 12th fret inlay is not visible enough to distinguish. (used in-studio during the "Untouchables" recording sessions)

any pics of this? i think i remember seeing this once and thinking it's the same guitar from 2000, which would be cool to know!

It's really hard to see it just from this short clip, the body looks glossy compared to the 2000 model, which most likely might be the natural one.

any info or additional pics of this 2000 sick and twisted tour RG7?
Hmm I would bet it’s the same guitar from the 2000 sick and twisted tour. Same gloss reflecting in the light, same inlay

Thanks for the video! I knew I saw that some time ago haha

Wondering if you know anything about this dark blue or black 7 string they gave Kirk from Metallica in 2000. It doesn’t appear to be the blue paw (no white hardware)

Here’s the YouTube video:

Nice find!
Really hard to see much, has a LACS sticker, maybe a K-7 prototype given the time frame?

Metallica's site has photos from the tour but nothing useful from this show.

Does anyone have this DVD or know where I can watch it? Munky uses his LACS black K-7 and LACS black APEX2 prototype.

I have a copy and did a rip of the videos. Not sure if I can send but I can try? Blind video is 90MB. Falling Away is 135MB.

Hey, the reddit is freaking awesome. I do want to add one note. On the K720, states "not used live" but it was used during the winter 2020 tour. Took these during the Little Rock show. IMG_7108.JPG IMG_7124.JPG
