Jacksonville it is & I love the Extended Range Guitar. I modified my Extended Range Electric Guitar (it has more than 10 strings) to sound good w/ the really light gauge strings (and the Octave4Plus high A String) by cranking the headstock angle down to 90 Degrees (like a Lute) which puts the strings at a really sharp angle over the nut.

Do what now?

i just picked up one of these last week and its an amazing guitar. Its my first 7 string and the neck is super super comfy. The dimarzio pickups need to go though as they are missing the bite/aggressiveness that I am after.

I ordered a set of lundgren black heaven pickups, since Lundgren will custom make the pickup with the dimarzio style baseplate with triangle ears. I should get those later this week/early next week. I feel like i should have made the switch to a 7 string a long time ago. This does make my 25.5" 6 string feel tiny after getting used to the 27" scale.
