Plugged back into the Badlander after playing and tweaking (mainly tweaking) with a Fractal FM9. I was gonna sell it, but it's staying. So good! Probably return or sell the FM9.

Yea, you have to limit your time tweaking the Fractal...i found myself updating and tweaking more than playing ...it was a cycle that i had to break, great unit tho !

Not exactly an Instagram worthy shot but this is the current state of my rig. It's set up for W/D/W but I have been using it in stereo without the MESA cab for a few months now. I don't like the 1x12 and will sell it and switch to cabs. I'm thinking two Marshall 1960BX (Greenbacks) 4x12's... (cab options are limited in New Zealand - Bogner is impossible to buy new and nigh impossible to find used).

Gotta love the Badlander for the ability to go direct into an interface without any add-ons... XLR cable from back of Badlander into Focusrite 2i2. Turn on direct monitoring. Listen through monitors, play along with some tracks, record yourself, etc.

10/10, I can feel the sympathetic vibrations in my chest cage from all the way over here.

Please rotate 90º the locking pads at the guitar's nut, their crown line/edge is supposed to be aligned with the strings, not perpendicular to them. Look at their bottom surface, it should be curved as the nut's top surface...

The locking pads are just on finger tight for now, ive been trying out different string gauges so they are on and off regularly. Il be buying a new nut when i replace the fretboard anyway 👌

That's the kind of meta info that photos don't tell... why will you replace the fingerboard? is there anything wrong with this one? And is the nut worn out to be swapped or...

I was trying out those EB Mondo Slinky and Mega Slinky strings so my string pads have been on and off a couple times in the past few days.

The fretboard has been in poor condition since i bought the guitar, its always been my intention to replace the whole neck or the fretboard itself. The nut was faded cosmo black so i gold plated it so it looks better for now. Makes sense just to replace that too when the neck is re-finished. Its an on-going project 👍

I need to move some things around and tighten up the wiring some with zip ties. That is a lot of drive pedals obviously, but I am running it where there are four different sections and basically operate like four amps with four channels.

They're on finger tight just now, the strings currently on it are coming off. The bridge is new, it was bought in December from Thomann 👍
