I had the Airstep setup the same way with my FM3 and found it to work okay, if anything I'll be using it far less with this and just for preset switches between songs. I may not use it at all in the end, but I'm trying to figure out how else I'd switch between presets and potentially scenes...Big fan of leaving some room. If you use the airstep a lot you’ll want it horizontal@Masoo2
tbh probably don't need scene functionality as the stomp mode on the Helix is already so powerful.
those 2/3 button switches that attach to the HX Stomp seem cool but I'd be worried more about them than a vertical Airstep...
noted on your Truetone CS12 / CS11 rec though...

I also like looper pedals at the end of the chain so nothing after influences the loops. It also allows everything to be present in the loops as well. And I agree with @budda about the switcher.
logic on the looper placement: physical looper post-gain pre-wet so I can do wacky shit with it, secondary one-button looper in the HX Stomp so I can record wet loops
