Yeaaah local DIablo Guitars. Not a shop I'd go to for a decent deal
Yeah I live real close to there, but almost never even bother going in. Lots of cool stuff but I'd definitely get myself in trouble with the wife at the prices they ask:lol:

Man, I have more money than sense and I don't buy anything at these prices (not just Diablo, but also Mike and Mike's guitar bar have cracked pricing). Just WHO does??

That price is actually not too bad in today's market and is about the first guitar I have seen at Diablo that is priced like that...almost normal.
Normally, Diablo is DiabNO for attracting my $$$

This is real dope. My only teeter hangup with Vola from afar is that despite being rounded, the neck heels look alarmingly thick.
Yes, the neck heel is like a stop block indeed. But it's not a show stopper unless you need to run double octave arpeggios involving all seven strings. You do have that kind of access until 22nd fret though.

My main gripe with it is not that the heel join is big. It's actually very comfortable and "clear" about how close you are to the limit of the fretboard. My main gripe is with the lower cutaway "access scoop" on the back. I would much prefer having it on the front side, like ESP M series guitars. This way the big neck heel would not be a factor at all - full access to every note on the fretboard.

I don't understand how it's 2025 and not every brand uses an AANJ.
Anytime I've brought up my distaste for block heels, I always get the same response... "Well if EVH can play the way he did with one, its good enough for everyone.." Truly one of the most brain dead takes on not wanting to innovate and make things better. I'd buy an Ibanez Genesis series in a heartbeat if it had an AANJ.
