Received this morning.
French luthier Darius makes really good stuff. He made this one as a showroom model that he put on sale at a good price, but when i saw the color and Black limba written on the description, I couldn't resist.
Dominger pickups, gotoh tuners, hipshot bridge, maple top and fretboard, full limba neck and body combo.
Sounds awesome, really good guitar as good or even better than a Mayo for less expensive in this case !
Make a bit of twin sister with my Mermet but those are 2 are insane.

Honestly, absolutely loving it! I like it more than my S2 and all the other CE-24's that I've played.

I have played a bunch of the Floyd versions in stores in the last number of years and they had something special about them but I just don't like Floyds so I always passed on them. When they released the HT version I knew I had to get one eventually, when this one popped up brand new (2024 build) and the store offered a discount I jumped on it immediately.

I initially asked for all matching cream plastics, and I still debate swapping them sometimes just to see how I like it. The pickguard isn’t white but not quite as cream as I would’ve liked, more of a parchment. And then matching pickup rings with pickgaurds can be a nightmare, would have to get them all custom made maybe.
