Thank you! I agree completely. There is something to that maple neck, never mind the fact that it's super comfortable too. I do have to hit the back of mine with steel wool again just because it gets sticky in spots, but probably a third of the finish is gone off the back of it. It's also "light" at like 9lbs 15oz, LOL.

I love your tobacco one... looks amazing!!

I just played six shows with my 1980 a week or so ago and its finish also gets a little sticky and hazy. My sweat just soaks right into the finish and doesn’t wipe off very well and some spots not at all, until the next day when it’s had time to dry, some of it comes out. First time I’ve ever dealt with that on any nitro finish. So far a combination of virtuoso cleaner and music nomad one polish seems to clean it back up the best and remove all the sweat stains. The virtuoso polish just smeared and made it worse for whatever reason. I don’t trust my novice luthier skills to be taking any sandpaper or steel wool to a finish.

Yep, that's gorgeous.

Here's my '94 Wine Red and '03 Silverburst LPC's as well.

1994… it’s definitely got some honest wear and could use some new frets, but it’s been a dependable gigging guitar and backup for me over the last few years.

I grabbed one of those TV Yellow SG standards they released a bit over year ago or so but I’d only ever had Vipers and the SG was just too different for me so I sold it. It was actually a great guitar just couldn’t get along with the chunkier neck and how thin and light it was, haha. I’m so used to thick, heavy guitars at this point in my life.

I just picked up one of the SG Faded models. Only ever tried an epiphone SG back in the day, but the pull to try a stripped down SG was too great.

Beautiful collection!! What are the details on the rest??

Left to right - 1979, in immaculate condition, I imagine it sat under a bed or something for decades. I actually bought the 1980 because I wanted a tobacco to tour with but that one was just too pristine at this point in its life haha. Black one is a 2013 that was pro-reliced by a previous owner after a headstock repair. Got a killer deal on that one. I’m indifferent to relics either way but the work on this one is pretty good. I initially bought it to refinish as it was super cheap but it’s grown on me. Next one is the previously mentioned 1980. And then the last is a 2022 M2M in Antique Silverburst, it looks a little more silver than green here (though yours is much more yellowed than this one in general, I wish this one looked like that haha).

Keep telling myself I’m set on LPC’s but occasionally I see a Norlin wine red or an old white one that’s super yellow that really catches my eye. We will see ha.
