How do you like the Slash pups?Sorry for the re-post but I got quite a few likes and thought I should share some specs
Honduran Mahogany body with a lightly figured Blackbean top, 6 piece Wenge neck with Indian Rosewood fretboard, Jescar jumbo stainless steel frets, Gotoh truss rod, bridge, and tuners. Seymour Duncan - Slash pickup set, black pearloid binding on body and neck including headstock, strung with a set of D'Addario 10's, very loud acoustically with rich sustain, sounds and plays as good as it looks .

They're awesome, I just chucked them in there while I was waiting for a set of EMG's to arrive and it sounds so good I never took them outHow do you like the Slash pups?

Thickness of that top is ridiculous.
1980, had it refretted early 2024 with stainless jumbos (the originals were pretty worn down). It does that thing the Norlin's seem to do real well.Killer, what year? Early 80s if I’m taking a wild guess based on the horn sharpness, maybe a ‘79 even?

Thank you! I agree completely. There is something to that maple neck, never mind the fact that it's super comfortable too. I do have to hit the back of mine with steel wool again just because it gets sticky in spots, but probably a third of the finish is gone off the back of it. It's also "light" at like 9lbs 15oz, LOL.Very nice, my most recent LPC is also a 1980 that’s been refretted with jumbos - I very much like how it plays. Norlin’s are awesome. The maple neck really adds a bite without losing any of the low end chunk LPC’s are known for.
Yours has aged perfectly, great yellowing on that one.
