@nightsprinter you were having issues with Ibanez fretted and fretless basses, right? Guitars too?

Just the basses luckily, though I've never bought an Indonesian made ibanez guitar. Just Prestige and Genesis. Genesis frets had some movement issues after it acclimated to my environment though. Typical.

I was gonna order a set of NYXLs in 11-52. My usual set is 10-52 but I wanted something heavier on the light strings. I randomly found these in the house and remembered I ordered them a long time ago. Restrung my guitar with these and I like them. The G and B strings on the Doyle's are thicker than the NYXLs which I like. These strings are super bright, bend well..all the good stuff. I can't speak on their longevity as I can't remember if I have a set on any of my other guitars. I feel like I do but I can't remember. Ah well, time will tell. These are certainly cheaper than NYXLs. I like Doyle, so I hope these strings work out and become my favorites.

Yeah I was sort of worried about that but he looked old AF so maybe he was already deaf. He definitely did not give a single fuck, he was cruising around our amps snorkeling for hot dogs that had been thrown at the previous band.

Alright, it's back. I changed it because I didn't like how Kent wasn't centered but I just learned that you can move the picture around when setting your profile picture!

I guess I’m not as punk as I used to be because at 38 I’m bouncing the fuck outta any show as soon as food starts getting thrown.

Starting to really enjoy the rainfall. That’s because my asshole neighbours don’t go outside where they blare their nauseating mariachi music from their speakers.

oh and it turns out that it’s TWO DIFFERENT HOUSES. One of them had a visit from the city’s compliance division after they ignored me when I politely spoke to them and lied about having a permit. He’s turned it down but I can still hear it when I am inside and with all windows shut. I am three or four houses away. Continuing to log this in an Excel file.

The other is perpetuated by a contractor working on a property. They got a visit from the police and then they turned it back up an hour or two later. I had originally thought that this neighbour was the one in the paragraph above and had spoken to them before as well.

The law in my area is pretty clear on noise disturbances which is probably why it was easy for the city compliance division to send someone over but it’s absolutely baffling how people can be so inconsiderate.

I totally know what you mean, but to be fair the over-inflated ego thing has always been a part of his whole schtick, maybe a bit more genuine now which might be the off-putting part, haha.

Yeah, like before we didn't know his background or anything, you could think he did have a modest background and whatnot, but now he's totally gotten high on his own supply (and brought WAY too many others who don't deserve it with him)

His first three specials absolutely fuck, like, don't tell me you can't watch "Mostly Stories" and not lose it? Even up through "Disgraceful" was still great, even though he was now slimmer and actually taking care of himself, because some of the stuff on that is WILD; like the one about the British lady who hit her head and woke up thinking she was a Chinese born woman? Get the fuck out of town with that one! It's so absolutely baffling but it's just, reality.

I was just thinking about the scene from Crocodile Dundee where he pours buddy's boogar sugar into a pot of hot water when buddy guy bullshits him and says its for his noise/sinuses or whatever; are we sure Croc isn't autistic?
