Sapporo Ichiban and Shin Ramyun (particularly the the Shin Black and Shin Gold) are miles better than any dog shit like Maruchan or CupoNoodles.
Maruchan is sort of passable but if you deliberately buy CupoNoodles I will question your sanity and your taste.

This is Olivia Rodrigo's pedalboard. This is all she needs to play an hour and a half pop set with a variety of sounds that have to be super accurate to the studio sounds.

You don't need the spaceship with 50 pedals on it. Grab a few of 'em and just go play your guitar.

(Unless you do stoner and ambient stuff. Then go nuts.)

that is pretty sweet. that for her music though? you do NOT need all that to be playing stolen pop "rock".
The same can be said about all of us here who hammer away on the low string with nothing but 0s and 1s and maybe some inverted power chords through half a dozen amps or a $2000 Axe-Fx, which has a $2000-3000 guitar plugged into it.

It's a totally different world in these types of gigs. Pop music is very simple compositionally but there's layers upon layers upon layers. Production can also be incredibly varied. It's not like us metal idiots where we fire up one tone and go "This is my rhythm tone," another that's our lead, and another that's our clean. The expectation is a lot different. It basically has to be close to perfection. If the guitar amp is dialed in a tiny bit differently on this song VS another song on the album, it's another patch or another tone. The expectation and standard is just totally different at these top level arena pop shows.

I forget the interview, but some interview with a hired gun was talking about it. All I remember was he was a kinda skinny white dude with a red SG. Might've been for Avril Lavinge or somebody?

my setup is functional and accomplishes specific goals but I'm so far beyond "need" at this point

Listen I'll acknowledge I'm a huge hypocrite. I have a GCI Jugendstil that sits on my board that I only use when I want super nasty chugs and slams. I use it maybe like 2% of the time I play. Totally self indulgent.

I am sure a big reason for the Line 6 pedals are because they are easy to find anywhere in the world, and easy to back up and be ready easily.

Ramen Noodles for newbs:
Where they have the Ramen Noodles, the cheap ones, the type you buy for a like a dozen packs for a buck or two? There's usually a whole bunch of sauces on a shelf near there. Figure out what flavors you like, and buy those sauces. For me that'd be peanut sauce, soy, fire oil, and sometimes some hoisin sauce, but I'll mix it up if any of those sauces are on sale. A few bucks gets you sauce for months, and you can toss some frozen veggies in with the noodles when they cook, while they drain, fry an egg in the pan, toss in some shredded leftover chicken or pork, and you got a relatively healthy meal for uber cheap.

I've ate for months on that type of thing when I'm trying to save up for a big expense.

In Canada the staple cheap ramen noodles are called Mr Noodles, and they're fine on their own, but recently I bought a couple packs of Sapporo Ichiban and they're so damn good, plus you get a bit more noodles in each pack. Admittedly, though, I've never tried any of the US brands like Maruchen or Cuponoodles but I'll go on a limb and assume they aren't worth trying.
