yeah for me personally, their last amazing record is Sing The Sorrow. Decemberundergound and past has a few good songs but it's no longer great full albums.
hardcore punk AFI is best AFI but there were still some elements of that aggression in the later stuff that kept my attention.
davey has been like that since the beginning. he's always been obsessed with fashion and the way he looks. you can see elements of that in earlier music videos and live shows. he really went full out later when the music got more gothic and slow instead of punky and fast. it's hard to dress like that and caress your face when you're singing songs like shatty fatmas
davey has said multiple different things when asked what the name stands for. it's actually A Fire Inside now but he's said it stands for Asking For It, Another Fuckin' Idiot, and Aggressive Furious Intense before in the past.
