I just recently bought a Palmer PAN02 active DI-box. I recording through a mic, but I wanted to also record the DI, just in case my amp dies during the recording of my album.
My problem is that it's very noisey. Also sometimes it makes random crackeling noise.
Tried it with the Ground Lift button but it make it worst. I run it through a 9V battery.
Also tried to connect my guitar directly to the amp, not through the DI-box's "Link Out", and there is almost no noise.
I thought the DI-box's LINK OUT doesn't do anything with the signal, but it seems there is the problem, it sends noiser signal to the amp.
Maybe it's a faulty product? Any idea, suggestions?
