I'm extremely appreciative of Kevin for such a gesture. Gifting someone something you've worked so hard on is a true testament to his kindness. It is an understatement to say that with a blue-collar salary in the Caribbean, it would take years of very irresponsible saving to get an instrument of this caliber. Kevin knows this first hand, as he grew up in our small island despite being born in the USA. Him knowing this struggle POV is partly the inspiration for this gift but another huge part is challenging himself and his ability by bringing the stakes up a notch.

While the instrument has some clear differences from the original intellectual property, Like the modified EndurNeck shape and slightly modified lower half It is close enough to infringe on Ola's patents. Matter of fact, Kevin heard from Ola through DMs. He reached out and congratulated him for his attention to detail and craftsmanship. He encouraged him to get out there with his own twist on the formula, while very kindly and tactfully reminding him that this instrument or any instrument with his I.P. could never be sold, and sold it will never be; It is a True Ode to a long-standing friendship that was forged in the precariousness of our environment and mutual respect and admiration while catering to our inner teenage gear nerds by living out a very light-hearted "What if i had a strandberg signature?"

Without further ado, Here is #6:

Shoutout to John Browne for being a cool dude and signing the back plate. Kevin knows i'm a huuuuuuuge fan of his and had him sign it before a gig.

Looks top notch, really like back and neck especially. Interested to hear how the neck profile works for you, as it is a slight twist on the endureneck thing.

I'm still pinching myself! such a good guitar! As for the neck profile, having the wider flat plane actually forces and rewards you to an extreme on having a correct, "classical-ish" thumb and hand position, which also means it hinders the "thumb over the neck" playstyle just slightly towards the lower frets and overall encourages you to hold the fretting hand more delicately, else you'll reeeally feel it on your thumb joint. It was intended to be an endurneck but as a happy accident I'd personally say it came out as hybrid between an Endurneck and Rick Toone's take on the ergonomic neck profiles in both form and function.

That's great, all the best with such a cool guitar.
I've only played a handful of strandys and the neck was quite comfortable and surprisingly easy to adapt to, but think a hybrid of that and another ergo neck would be super super interesting.
