Hey everyone! I never thought I would be able to get a Duvell for myself, but the stars aligned and I was able to get one!
I have been wanting one for a while and one day I randomly searched Guitar Center's used section and this beauty was there. I was shocked because I had never seen the BL's in a black burst before (though you can order with a burst). My friend suggested I call the GC it was at (It was in CA USA) to see if it had a spec sheet, but I got scared someone would buy it before I did so I bought it! I totally lucked out because it came with the awesome softcase AND the certificate of ownership! It is a 2020/2021 model per the spec sheet. It even had all the case candy in the case (locking tuners and such, guitar came with the Dimarzio clip lock set). It also came with the Majin Vegeta (what I called it) knob which is sick! I later found out that the knobs with M are from the John Browne Qatsi sigs.
Another shock is that it came with BKP War Pigs. I have used a buncha of BKPs in the past but never the War Pigs. I LOVE these pickups. They sound insane in the Duvell. I havent been able to stop playing it since I got it, even with my AC currently broken at my house (AC got fixed yesterday, both the blower motor and outside fan motor died after 20 years)
