The title says it all, picked this up yesterday from a guy in my area, damn its so light! Super fast neck as well.. Its nice to finally have a guitar without a Floyd rose! Question: 10-52 set feels super flimsy compared to how they feel on my Jackson DK2M pro and PRS SE Torero (both floyd rose).. I play in 1/2 step down (Drop C sharp).. Maybe Ill try some 11-54 set to get some solid rythem recording tones?

I actually don't see many of them with that finish.
Good choice to just move up one size in strings.
Some people instantly go to the other extreme when things don't feel quite perfect.

HNGD, that's a nice color. Don't remember seeing that before.

Congrats, looks great! LTD Deluxes are always solid instruments.

I can see 10-52 feeling a little light on the 3 high strings, but should feel fine on the 3 low strings. I find 11-52's are great for Drop C# but If all 6 feel a little loose to you then an 11-54 (Ernie Ball) or 12-54 (D'addario) would probably be a wise choice.

Nice! The best colour they do!

I would second 12-54's - I use them for drop C and B and they are perfect, but change out the plain 3rd for a wound string

HNGD! Hell yes to LTD Deluxe. My string recommendation is respectfully different than these other gentleman- avoid the 12-54 if you play leads. The wound 3rd string is dull and feels bad for bends; the unwound 3rd is too thick and sounds rough. Just my opinion.

Thanks dudes! I think I might actually go custom and rock a 10-52 set (cause I really like the feel of the other strings) and replace the bottom string with a single 54 :D

Thanks man! actually I like how they are light on the other strings but I cant accurately pick tight rythems on the low string with the 52s and it doesnt give me a solid recording tone, I think 54 or 56 might be the answer!

I ended up putting a set of 10-52 and replaced the bottom string with a 54 and wow, this guitar is freaking amazing.. Im blazing through riffs I could never pull off on my PRS, I absolutely love it.. Super highly recommend this guitar! I might actually sell my PRS Torero and buy a second LTD Deluxe in see thru black with the FR lol. Also Im thinking this would be the perfect guitar to drop my first set of BKPs in :D

Such solid guitars. Never understood why the ec1000 is more popular, I think these play much better.

Id go for some Top Heavy Light Bottoms (strings) on that for the tuning your using!

Lovely guitar, Had two of these and still have one of them, Love em!! HNGD!

Nice finish too, Hard to find them in that finish!
