Very nice. I've got the hard tail version from the year before they switched to E-II and it is a great playing guitar. It's a very simple but sleek design.

I just sold one of these, nice guitars. Mine was heavy as well with a chunk neck. These are tone monsters, HNGD. If I had to give a pickup recommendation, try EMG 57 and 66 combo— talk about huge sound!
