    Dear SSO,

I am an idiot. I shouldn't have bought another guitar, but the deal was pretty damn good, so I pulled the trigger anyway.

It plays great. It looks absolutely badass. It's also pretty beat up. Dings, chips and scratches everywhere. The original price the owner asked for it was a little high, given the condition of the guitar, but for what I paid, I can't really complain. Very happy with it!

I love the Ex’s, very comfortable guitars, standing or sitting.

Nice score! Can see the ball end wont fit. What gauge are you using for the bottom string?

It's a .75 on the picture. The guitar came with a very heavy set for standard A. While I love that tuning, my band is in D, so I quickly changed the string to my usual .11-.54 instead.

I imagine one of these would be a step up from the Ltd-ex400 version? Coooooooool stuff though.

I recognize some of the posters/bands in the background.

You didn't have to replace the nut after that?

That's a real nice looking guitar and great choice of colour...BLACK! I just browsed a few other NGD threads and they're black guitars also. What a coincidence. BTW...say hi to Randy for me and watch out for Ricky & Julian...they're up to no good again.;)
