Just a heads up you can't use Fender pickguards without modifying the neck route section of the PG. Fender-spec PGs tend to be routed for 21 frets across the board since Fender adds the extra 22nd fret via fretboard overhang, while Schecter adds the 22nd fret to the neck itself.
Thanks all for the info. Pretty sure there’s a shop on eBay that will make custom pick guards for this model. Also wondering why all the models I’ve seen are over 8lbs when there is such a big chunk taken out of the body!

That is one of the reasons I bought this one on the spot. It is a little heavier than my other guitars, but not bad overall. I weighed it when I got it home, and it is 7.8 pounds.

I have a habit of bringing home lighter used Schecter guitars I find, lol.

Taste that SWEET SCHECTER NECTER. I did play one of their Charvel ripoffs recently, and it was a nice guitar.

Yeah, too bad duties will totally kill any kind of interest for any Schecter here in EU, so these will likely never be a thing here

Prolly. I'm thinking of buying a Valravn from the Ukraine as my next guitar to be honest.

Though looking at Thomann, US guitars aren't affected yet.

And, hey, they finally have a Reaper Elite 7 on there.

Not a fan of the really tight crackle. Every DIY job I've seen looks like that so maybe that's it. The big lines on the Balsac signature look so much better.
