Letting go of the old HD500X, upgrading to a Helix. The Temple Audio pedalboard will have a Voodoo Labs Mondo mounted underside with the Helix plugging into the courtesy outlet. I only have 2 FreqOuts on there for size as they don’t have an image for a Drop, which will be placed on top. This will free up a block for added DSP. Loop 1 return for wireless A, Loop return 2 for wireless b, loop 3 open for potential later expansion, loop 4 send to drop input, drop out put to FreqOut input, FreqOut output to Loop 4 return. Loop 4 always on. I’ll have redundant presets named with input selected in the naming convention. No more need for the ABC switch.

Congrats. I've been a hair's breadth from ordering a Helix since I got my tax return, been telling myself for years that I would.

What’s cool is you can set it up like an analog board.
Setup an amp/cab, save your settings as a favorite, and recall it later to build a preset with a different amp/cab, but recall your Favorite. For example, I always have 2 Phase 90’s. One is set slow like EVH, and one is set fast like a fast wah wah, so I can just recall “Slow Phase” and ”Fast Phase” into my preset with the knobs already set to my preference. It’s like having all of your favorite pedals sitting in front of you to incorporate how you wish without having to star each preset from scratch and have to go back and reference your pedal setting from another preset.
