Spun this today. Liked it, but gonna' give it a few more spins before I weigh in.

Yeah, same here. The album seems like a logical continuation of Death Atlas and in the same way, it's gonna take a couple of spins to digest. Their formula is so good though, it's almost gonna take a miracle for it not to be among the best albums this year.

My only complaint about the new Cattle Decap album is that the drums are so friggin’ loud, just like on Death Atlas. Just gets fatiguing after a while. The drumming itself is amazing, of course.

Just loving these guys and their synthesis of all aspects of all my favorite prog metal groups so much. Glad to finally see a release date for album #3.

So awesome, super dig it. As always, their noise gate game is on point. And, I'm really not liking clean vocals these days, but the vocoder sounds awesome.

I like it a lot but their guitars have some weird mid-snarl to them that I can't really describe in terms because my brain is as smooth as a baby's ass. I know when I listen to a song it's them immediately though.

King Gizzard is releasing another metal album in June, PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation.
