Damn good music, but Dave is at the point where studio magic can't even save his voice.
Yeah, it is the throat surgeries (one forr a spine issue and the other for cancer) as well as general wear and tear on his voice.

I'm an old Megadeth fanboy, but I'm even more a Kiko (and old Angra) fanboy
That's why I'm very disappointed at Kiko's solos
I like the song, with old band you just have to be happy to get more of the same
For new stuff, we have to support new bands

As for the voice...I really have zero expectations from a guy that is in his 60, has never had proper singing technique, had lived in excesses and substances abuse and had a throat cancer

I like it. Good energy track to kick of the singles releases with.

oh that fine line between "they changed their sound too much" and "sounds like all their other songs"

Megadeth, for being one of my favorite bands, seems to ruin guitarists in their modern day. I also am a big fan of Kiko and Angra (Aurora Consurgens and Temple of Shadows are my freakin' JAMS), Yet his work in Megadeth has done nothing for me. Chris Broderick, loved his work in Jag Panzer and to me he was Nevermore's unofficial second guitarist, yet I can barely remember anything he did in Megadeth. Dave really needs to let guys cut loose.

Copy of Head crusher, not big fan of it. The guitar riff is also very boring. I want uniqueness like songs in earlier albums, but instead, i get 000000000.... on 6th string

Pretty much my same thought, except my experience with Angra started from the very beginning in 1993 with Angels Cry when I was 15 years old
I started listening to Megadeth in 1990-91, so you see that the time I spent with both bands is pretty much the same

I already posted a gut reaction to the song, but now regretting that I didn't seize the opportunity to use "Meh-gadeth".
