I was looking for a beater 7 string and found this Jackson JS22. Made in China.
Fretwork is perfect and the pickups sound great. Perfect for my needs.
It's just for practice through my Crate practice amp.

I got one of those when I needed a budget 7 some years ago... and it was a very nice surprise. Neck is really nice and stock pickups as you say are pretty nice. I ended up replacing the stock pickups for a set of Ionizers and while I felt like the neck pickup was an improvement the bridge was not better than the stock pickup... maybe Ionizers are very "taylored for" to meet my needs but the stock pups are versatile enough for everyone I believe.

Enjoy it!!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not going to bother with a pickup swap on this one, as it's only for practice.

Are you getting an identical one or the maple fretboard version?

These are seriously killer value for the money. I got myself the maple one sometime last year to mess around with different tunings and pickups and have been loving it. Congrats!
