By hump, I mean singlecut. By long boi, I mean baritone.

Today I picked up an Agile AL-3010 silverburst baritone. It’s been about 10 months since I’ve owned a baritone or a singlecut and it’s about time I have one again. Guitar center local to me had this used. The previous owner dropped string saver saddles in it and this thing roars. The body is thick as fuck and I don’t even remember my Epi LP custom Koa being this thick. Do not be mistaken, this is a heavy bitch, but I’ve been throwing around dead animals for a living for 7 years so NBD. 476B262A-CE07-422E-A593-91C84794FCA2.jpeg FEF59451-01FE-40E2-BC22-60758A3898AA.jpeg

Jesus, that is thick, I know @wheresthefbomb talks about his old one weighing a ton and a half too, and this explains why  Guess if I want a baritone single cut I better stick with the EC-1000B that ESP put out, as that won't break my back like these would.
Just weighed it. 9.5lbs

Wow super congrats that thing is in really nice shape! I'm always looking around for one of the AL-3xxxx series baritones. My AL-2000 bari was indeed thicc. I see they're doing Agile singlecuts again, and with some very cool features at that. Maybe we'll get another run of AL baritones.

Very cool! Good to know it has a thick body. How's the resonance and how does it play? Does it feel cheap or classy? I'm asking because years ago I did own a couple of Agile 8-strings and while they were fine, they just felt kind of cheap. Those "Les pauls" look really nice though...

For a 30" neck I'd say the weight is acceptable for a Les Paul (which still means a lot ).

It plays great, the frets are taller than the epiphone I owned. The fretboard is nice and smooth, the inlays are done well. The bridge doesn’t feel cheap at all but I haven’t checked if it is upgraded, as the saddles are so it could be. It came with a graptech nut and Grover tuners stock, so that was welcomed.

Agile lists it as a 27”, but I haven’t measured yet.
I thought agile had the scale length in the name, AL-2710 being the 27 incher and the AL-3010 I figured was the 30 incher but I could be totally wrong.

I might be wrong but the string saver saddles were stock across the board for 3000 series Agiles

Hang on this is the spec sheet for a 3010 Baritone

That's been my impression from all their other models, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a typo given they reuse a lot of the spec listings
