Finally bit the bullet and am now a Synergy dude. This module is insane. Only spent a few mins twiddling with knobs before deciding to record some sloppy riffs.

Krautster II straight into the Syn-1 -> VHT 2/50/2 -> Suhr RL -> Behringer 1820 -> Genome (Karl Sanders Splawn)

As long as you don’t caught up in whether it is an exact match, Synergy is great!

New amps for only $399

I don't wanna be a prick on your NGD thread, but I think you forgot to engage the cab sim in that Instagram vid

Otherwise yeah, congrats, all the clips I've heard of this thing rules

I am loving the Killer Kali. It is super aggressive and tight, and the EQ switch really does bring some different tones.

I somehow had it as a mix of the cab and the direct. Going for that Tom Scholz vibe on accident.

Its obvious that good gear does not inherently make you better, but if the gear is good enough you'll play more which will hopefully make you better. The KK is that piece of gear.

The first is my newest guitar 1997 SC620 bone stock in drop c. at the end of the clip I go through the 3 way EQ shape switch, this was the 2/50/2 in class A.

And this is my 2001 RG1077XL w/Nazgul+Blaze S+Sentient. Back to class AB

Is the BE-DLX worth buying if I LOVE the KK and really want an XTC?

I have had the Be-Dlx a lot longer. When going back and forth, it has around the same level of gain, but it is fatter and smoother. Putting a Precision Drive into it gets it closer to the KK, but the KK still has more of a scooped tonality the Be-Dlx dont get.

I have never played an XTC. I have thought about the module, but I also have the Uber, which is more in my style.

What other modules are worth looking into? Was thinking XTC, IICP, and Powerball.
It really depends on what kind of sound you are looking for. Some modules can sound pretty similar if they are a similar design. Out of those, the IICP would probably be the most different to the KK. The Drect would be pretty different also.

I have a Revv 10th Anniv on preorder, but am thinking about grabbing a Syn-2 and a second module and putting the Revv on the back burner for now.

I have a Rev G Triple with a Mr. Scary in it so I am set on the Drect module.

I have a Rev G Triple also, lol. I keep it in a different room.
