Well this NGD is way overdue, I actually bought this guitar in July from SS.org user teddy_baca. (Thanks again man!)

It's an Ibanez Prestige RGT220A, I guitar I have been wanting to get for years, but never seemed to find one for a decent price. After a lot of trouble with customs, it finally arrived in Belgium. And I was pleasantly suprised.

The guitar was in good condition, but there was some picking damage around the pickups and some scratches here and there. So what I decided was to sand it down to remove the damage and afterwards oil it up again. Unfortunately last few months were a bit hectic so it did take a while to finish it up, but here she is!

But that's not all, I've also scored a much older japanese beauty, a 70's Kasuga Les Paul Custom. I got it for an amazing price and this thing make me want to sell my Gibson.

    Enjoy!

I like the Les Paul! Is it a bolt on or a set neck?

Thanks! It's an Edge Pro actually.

And the Les Paul is a bolt-on.

oooooooooohhhhhhhh that 220A has always been one of the most wet dream-inducting guitars Ibanez has made. There's just something about all that.....well........nothingness. So clean.......smooth neck-through heel.......Edge Pro bridge........man, I wish I knew what was really going down when these were in production. Dx

I had the opportunity to get an RGT320QMRBB that Ibanezrules had from the NAMM show. I really wish I would've went through with it. Those RGTs are some of the classiest guitars ever made.

Great success. I'm quite jealous as I remember being fairly novice when those guitars came out and I couldn't justify the expense - sitting here today I'm like fuuuuuuu...

    HNGD!

Very nice. I have the one with the RBB finish, but if I went back I'd probably choose this one instead. Congrats.

This guitar plays so well, such a shame that the only one I ever stumbled upon was beat to hell and the seller was asking WAY too much for it regardless of condition  . Happy NGD and congrats on the nice score, this one is definitely a player :hbang:

Edit : I am speaking about the Ibanez, not the other one haha

    Hi OP!
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have recently got a Kasuga that looks exactely like yours and I was hoping to get more info about it... Do you know the exact Model, the year it was made, the pickups on it? Do you still have it? Thanks! :)
