Hey y'all!
After my gig with Mastodon at Tool in the Sand, I got a LOT of questions about the show. Decided to make a video answering as many as I could, plus giving a rig rundown of everything I used at the gig! Hope you all enjoy, and thanks so much for the kind words and support. This gig was an honor!

Hell yeah! Just gonna echo what others have already said in the other thread that this was cool as hell and I'm stoked for you that you got the opportunity to play with them.

Gonna check out your video on my lunch break tomorrow.

So cool getting an insight on your whole process for the gig. Man, that Suhr Tele sounded incredible tuned down to A. Match made in heaven with the Friedman + Precision Drive.

Deep down I'm hoping they're waiting to announce you as the new permanent replacement because they're waiting for you to learn every single Mastodon song released lol

Also re: The semihollow guitar. Explains why I always thought the semihollows I've owned sounded just a bit meaner than other guitars.

Watching the video I am reminded once again that I have been playing White Whale wrong all along, which I also learned the first time I watched your video on how to play it however many years ago.

Had no idea Ben was a poster here. Holy crap signed up in 2007!

Congrats Ben...But I do miss your horror movie podcast! I used to do 6 hour drives to visit my mom and it was fantastic for those trips. Oddly enough the podcast ended right around the time my mom moved back into town.

I watched the video yesterday and I would have never quessed that the drop A guitar would be Suhr Alt T with Thornbuckers.. So cool that you got the gig and I really hope you would land this gig permanently.
