I don't know.

I only have one prestige and that's an RG1570, and it's the guitar I use and like the most since I bought it in 2020. I have a few other guitars, cheaper and more expensive: a Premium RG (very similar but not quite the same), a 7 string LTD, and an American Peavey Wolfgang. I like my 1570 the most, and I'd buy another one if it breaks or it's stolen or something.

I'm not opposed to having a different prestige, if they're similar to this one I'd be as happy. You'll probably want to change the pickups, though.

Here goes another rabid, rushed post to state my opinion on a topic we all hold strong feelings about before everyone else does obviously ignoring every other post preceding it:

- RGA622XH (biased cause I own one, but fuck I love it)

- RG3620Z in Atlantic Blue

- RGA321 for aesthetics only

-AZ2402 because it can do it all and is different from all the RGs.

Honorable mention to the PIA3761, which I also own and think it's lovely. Technically a Prestige.

I know I will want tl massively expand this list within 5 minutes of posting.

So many good ones honestly...

RG1570.
RG1527.
RG2228 (Pinnacle 8 Neck).
Ibanez RG2610E (Underrated).
Ibanez RGA321.
Ibanez RGT320Q.

The 2610E surprised me the most out of all of them. Loved that guitar.
Hate I got rid of it. Well. More like, I didn't expect my friend to ever get rid of it, so...

Best VALUE would be the (used) RG1570. You are getting something of decent quality, good price, and no bells and whistles. It is the quintessential RG of the 20th century. Came in many colors as well.

Here are mine: Royal Blue 2002 RG1570 and Candy Apply Red RG1570 from 2008. I prefer the smaller dots on the 2008 model but I like the powder cosmo hardware from the 2002 model.

I bought a used RG655 in Firestorm Orange a couple of years ago for fun.

Your collection is freaking awesome!!! Love your RG1570 in candy apple red. I have one in mirage red. I also have a RG655 in firestorm orange.

Kind of disappointing story involving my RG655. So..., I purchased one brand new in 2015. The one pictured above. A few days later, I went window shopping at my local Guitar Center store and lo and behold, they had a brand new RG655 in candy apple red. 😍😍😍 At the time, I had no idea that Ibanez had released one in that color. Before I purchase any guitar, I research the specs and what colors the guitar is available in and Ibanez didn't mention anything about a RG655 in that color on their website. They list it now but they didn't list it in 2015. WTF??? Had I known they had that guitar in that color, I would have purchased it instead of the Firestorm orange one. Don't get me wrong, though, I love the Firestorm color model I have. In turns out, the RG655 in candy apple red was a limited model. Below is one I saw on Reverb years ago.

Nice stuff!

I have a similar story. When deciding between the RG2550Z and the RG655 (it was 2016 and I want living in the UK), I went with the RG2550Z because I wanted a white one. The websites I was looking at only had Cobalt Blue, Galaxy Black, and Firestorm Orange. The Ibanez Wiki says there was an RG655 in White, but I can't find a picture of it online except on the Wiki. It doesn't appear in any catalog EU or NA catalog and neither does your Candy Apple red one, so I'm guessing these were both spot models.

The wiki says that the white RG655's finish is called just "White", just like the JEM7VWH. It doesn't have the same sparkle that the White Pearl Metallic finish has, so I think I made the right choice.

Posted S2020x a few posts above you  Amazing guitars, incredibly underrated.

That's amazing and kind of crazy they fit that much stuff in such a thin piece of wood!

What do the stacked knobs control on the 2120X?
The stacked knob only came on that 2120x as far as I’m aware, but it looks like (after a quick search) it’s for bass/treble. The rest is a stereo out, on/off toggle, volume blend for the Piezo saddles.

But yeah, putting all that stuff in that thin of a body is cool - until you have to replace it due to age  Then it becomes… one of the things of all time…

Either the RG2120 or FR1620.

Leaning more towards the FR because even though I love the combo of a baritone RGD, the Tite End on the FR series is cool as hell. They did have an Tite End variant closer to the Edge profile on the RGD2127, but it never made it to the 6 string version

I didn't realize there was another Tite End... I think I like that one best.

Supposedly they'll do what gh0styboi said. Again, pics ain't mine, I only wish.
