 yeah, but my point was more that Schecter USA pickups are more than good enough in most cases. I'm sure he could have been a stickler about getting the Nailbomb Coldsweat combo if he had wanted it badly enough.

He did also say he recorded the new album (minus 2 songs) with the Schecter USA pickups, so that also speaks well for them

For all the arguments about what pickups sound better, I've never actually seen a video or example of a skilled played showing off a "bad" set of pickups.

Hello guys!

On all videos of Juggernaut HT6 Pro that i have seen, the bridge saddle of 6th string is tuned back to the limit of the spring.
Bought HT6 a week ago and had to do the same - move saddle back to the limit, otherwise the intonation was bad.

I fear that if I change the strings to like 10-52, i would not be able to achieve good intonation on the 6th string.

Is a Hipshot bridge a solution to this problem? Does it have more intonation range than the stock bridge?

Can't say for sure on a 6, but my mk1 usa 7 string would require me to remove the 7th spring to properly intonate anything bigger than about 62. So it's possible you'd need to do similarly. Seems like a design defect, since I think Misha uses a 65 and therefore wouldn't be able to intonate it properly. Maybe he used lighter strings back then.

Agreed, it seems like a design flaw in string holes positioning. By the way you can replace Hipshot saddles with a shorter ones.

Crazy how it’s been almost 10 years and the lefty Juggernaut is still the only guitar I dream of having…

I still email them about it every few months, I’m at a point where I’m about to just buy a right handed one and restring it upside down, not ideal and I hate how that might be my only option, but I’ll do what I have to

Does anybody remember that Jackson artist who was authorized to order custom juggernauts? He had purple 1-hum with gold hardware and a Floyd.

I mean they're good guitars* but they're not THAT good. For the price you could get a custom built lefty that would check all the same boxes aside from the logo on the headstock.

*at least the ones that aren't lemons, lol

Maybe see if you can get a dealer to assist you? Nick from AxePalace might be a good option, especially since he is a member of this board. A dealer request is going to hold more weight than just a regular joe left hander.

And let's be real -- it's not hard to check the logo on the headstock box, either.

IIRC that guy got the custom Juggernaut because he's an endorsed Jackson artist. And I seem to remember someone (maybe @bulb) had to green light it.

Looks like I might have willed the refresh of the pro line into existence. Ferrari red with an ebony board so far.
