My lord this is vague. Compared to a J custom Ibanez or a Gio? A MIM DK or a custom shop? Are you even going to read the replies?

Ibanez J custom or Charvel custom shop
the aquila has more in common with a suhr or tom anderson than it does with a j custom or charvel custom shop. those are two totally different universes. I feel like if you're asking about that kind of comparison youi have no idea what the Aquila is.

I mean the aquila is a boutique "super strat" more akin to a suhr. 12 in radius, vintage pickups, thicker neck. Its not a shredder like an Ibanez or Charvel.

I don't own an Aquila, but have 2 Duvell. They're both very high quality and I'd have a hard time imagining that their other models are any different. Quality is up there with Suhr and TA.

If you like the idea of an Aquila, I'd say give it a shot. If you're looking at an Aquila, you probably don't want an RG or a Charvel anyway.

I used to own a duvelle elite 6 the neck wasnt for me. Thinking about getting an Aquila since its more like their take on a strat.

Yes, the Aquila seems to fit that bill of having the same build quality, but with more vintage specs and a fatter neck.

If you're looking into a modern strat type instrument, did you consider an Ibanez AZ 2204 or EBMM Cutlass RS? You can find both of these for a fraction of the Aquila and they are really good guitars.

I tried one out in a store recently and I liked it apart from the neck joint. It looks like it should be really ergonomic but in person I felt like it really got in the way which was very annoying

all the hardware was great, it played great and all that though! Definitely closer to a Suhr Standard Plus than a Suhr Modern if that makes sense
