Hey fellas. So I have been looking into buying a snakebyte. Honestly I been looking to get one of the older gloss ones as I prefer it over the new matte color ones. But now I have found out that the newer ones are made in Indonesia unlike the older ones that were made in Korea. I have heard some stories of the qc taking a dip for the model since the move. Does anyone have any experience with the newer snakebyte models made in Indonesia? Thanks guys

I have one of the Indo made Snakebytes. Doesn't have any noticeable issues to me, but I'm also not super nitpicky either. Also, from what I understand, any of Ltd's current 1000 or artist sigs can be made in either Korea or Indonesia. I guess it's been that way for a few years now.

Ah I see. thanks for the response. So does that mean that the current snakebytes can be made in either Indonesia or Korea?

If you're concerned about the country then contact the seller/store to ask where its made--assuming they have one in stock.

All the 600 level / artist series LTD's I've seen have been Korean but there could be Indo ones too, not sure.

Someone in my city is currently selling a 2017 snakebite and its Korean.

Yeah pretty much, but to be honest, it's not something to get too hung up on. I've had multiple Indonesian made guitars and they were all up to par quality wise.
